Ministry of Reconciling Peace, aka MoRP, a 501(c)(3) Religious, Non-profit, Organization – EIN 02-0807054, is a non-denominational, independent religious non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the mission work of education and council of religious workers who minister to abused, abandoned, neglected, and/or victims of violence. MoRP specializes in bringing people to inner healing and closure to deal with their situations and expand Christian understanding.
Donations to MoRP are tax deductible. As with any nonprofit organization, we are in need of money. We are currently made up of volunteers who will not be receiving a salary through MoRP. The funding of our organization is to supply the monetary needs of the organization not the members. Though we will always accept monitary donations (mostly to cover travel expenses), there are other needs for a young organization. These include but are not limited to the following:
- Computer equipment such as laptops and projector for providing presentations.
- Sound equipment. We received a small Yamaha MG10/2 mixer but are lacking microphones, amplifier, speakers, PA and other sound equipment.
Video recording equipment. We received an old DV-Recorder but it is in need of repair. We wish to thank Mike P. of St. Louis, MO for donating a Canon XL-1 digital video camera to meet our needs. May God bless you.
- General office supplies including copy/printer paper,
ink cartridges (LexMark black 16 or 17 and color 26 or 27), lamination equipment, binding equipment, and other items that we have not discovered the need. We recently upgraded our printer to a Brother HL-2140 Laser printer that uses TN-360 Toner.
- Blank DVD and CD media. We are double-layer capable as well as Lightscribe capable.
As mentioned above, money needs are mostly used to cover travel expenses. However, this is no short order since two of our workers will be traveling between the United States and Ukraine. A round trip ticket currently costs between $1500 and $2500 per person. While Alla Akulenko and Zena Kleshchar are in America, we will be providing room and board, however, extra living expenses for personal needs are currently not factored into the cost of doing business.
Anyone wishing to donate items or money will be allowed to examine our bookkeeping records to satisfy accountability desires.
